HEALTH FOOD WALNUT SALAD INGREDIENTS
50 gms Beans
50 gms Walnuts
100 gms Salad Leaves
50 gms Chopped Onion
2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
1 tbsp Honey
METHOD 1.Whisk together balsamic vinegar, honey, extra-virgin olive oil.
2.In a bowl, toss together salad leaves, beans, onion, and apples (thinly sliced)
3.Toast and finely chop walnuts, add to the above mixture. Mix in the dressing.
4.Keep in refrigerator and serve chill.
2 Egg Whites
200 ml Skimmed Milk
60 gms Whole Wheat Flour
½ tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Sugar (optional)
50 gms Roasted Almonds & Peanuts
1 cup Chopped Fresh Peaches or Soft Fruit or Berry 1 tsp Honey 1/2 tsp Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
1.Mix skimmed milk, eggs in a small bowl. Stir until smooth. 2.In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and sugar. Stir until well blended and add liquid mix and stir well. 3.To prepare sauce: Combine peaches, honey and lemon juice in a pan, and cook over medium heat until peaches are soft. Keep warm if desired. 4.Heat sauce pan and ladle 2 Tablespoon of batter. Flip pancake and cook for 1-2 minutes on the other side. Serve warm with fruit sauce.
