Rakesh brings with him more than 19 years of experience in diverse sectors such as Trading (wholesale and retail), Information Technology and IT-enabled services, Export and Manufacturing.

Rakesh comes from Carrefour, the second largest Company in France and world's #2 retailer. As a member of the executive committee of Carrefour's India BU, he was responsible for setting up the legal function from scratch, providing strategic legal and commercial support. As a Senior Director, he was overseeing the legal, corporate governance, regulatory, compliance and corporate affairs functions of Carrefour India. From 2005 to 2008, he worked with NIIT Technologies Group as Head - Legal, Company Secretarial and Compliance. In 2002, he joined Global Vantedge, a dynamic American business process outsourcing company (currently known as Aegis) as Assistant Vice President and Company Secretary. Rakesh started his career in 1995 and until 2002, worked with Cottage Industries Exposition and My Fair Lady wherein addition to his domain responsibilities, he set up several overseas subsidiaries across the globe and also managed their support functions under a single window communication system.
