The Institute comprises of surgeons who specialize in various areas of surgery and are dedicated to performing surgical procedures with a special emphasis on utilization of minimal access techniques (Laparoscopy Surgery), so that patients reap the benefits of faster recovery, lesser post-operative pain and minimal post-surgical complications. One of the thrust areas of the Institute is the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery performed by Minimal access techniques and is one of the leading bariatric centres in India and Asia Pacific region, with serious focus on managing morbid obesity.

The Institute headed by Dr. Pradeep Chowbey, who featured in the Limca Book of Records in consecutive editions from 2000 - 2009, for having performed the largest series of laparoscopic biliary surgery (over 50000). The Institute is equipped with state-of-the-art operation theatres, quality equipment and high-end video conferencing systems, that contribute in affirming our best-in-class industry practices.
