Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) are tools, developed by and for practitioners, to assist in clinical decision making. Research has shown that guidelines can promote consistency of care and reduce variation within appropriate limits. They, of course, serve to assist and do not replace the clinical judgment and expertise of healthcare professionals.
The Max Healthcare Clinical Guidelines Council team, which comprises experts in clinical practice, healthcare administration and nursing, were given the responsibility to encourage the creation, compilation, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based clinical guidelines, on the following topics, for the use across Max Healthcare by clinicians and nursing staff. |
