MIME is located on the service Floor of Max Heart & vascular Institute, Saket, New Delhi. The Institute has state of the art Clinical Skills Lab equipment, access to 2 Training Rooms (25 seater), mock hospital room, computer technology and audio visual training aids, access to an electronic library of books and journals, teaching resources, full time and part time expert faculty dedicated to teaching, and back up staff for management and administration.

In the near future, we will establish easy communication lines and networking with the training departments and medical staff of all Max Hospitals, and provide a website for access to e-learning. This would include exciting opportunities for web casting of teaching sessions and online CMEs. Individual electronic ids will be given to access training schedules, maintain credits and download training material, do online courses, or take tests at flexible timings.

The development of training modules is being done with expert faculty, or in partnership with other educational programs. The Aim will be to establish facilities that are fit for accreditation by national & international organizations.

It is well recognized that many of the complex and invasive techniques used in diagnosis and treatment are best learnt and practiced in a controlled environment away from the clinical areas. Many of the clinical procedures can now be simulated to allow a high Level of proficiency to be acquired before implementing in practice.

MIME is equipped with a wide range of simulators. The center will allow nurses, medical and paramedical staff to use these simulators for learning and practicing the clinical skills and procedures in a safe, controlled environment. Classes will be held in a safe, non-threatening and friendly environment. Innovative teaching strategies will be employed in the Center.

Over 50 training Courses have been designed to meet the core competency as well as advanced training needs of Doctors, Nurses and paramedical staff. These are listed in this directory. More Courses are being developed and information on these will be updated through the website.

The course contents have been designed and developed at par with international standards, by experts on the subjects. Carefully chosen (and certified where applicable) faculty delivers the programs. Learning objectives are clearly defined, and outcomes evaluated to ensure learning effectiveness. There is an emphasis on practical demonstrations and hands on learning to ensure skills enhancement, which will be reflected in the practice setting.

The programs will be held where practical, and at the various Max hospitals.

It will be the endeavor of the management of MIME, to provide flexibility in the training modules and calendar to suit the needs of the employees and organization. You can choose a program from our extensive list of courses or alternatively, we can create an original program customized to meet your precise specifications.

Training is provided as per convenience, as far as possible - days, evenings, or weekends - to reduce the impact on the day-to-day functioning of the staff. If required, some courses can be broken down to further reduce the workday impact.
