It is an integral part of Max healthcare, Saket, and aims at providing the highest quality of nutrition care and education to in patients and out patients. Department comprises of a team of 16 dedicated dieticians.
 
Patient Care
 
Inpatient Care:
  Daily visit by dietician
  Nutritional assessment of all patient at time of admission and daily assessment thereafter
  Diet planning of meals according to therapeutic needs
  Patient and family education Patient Care
 
Out patient Care:
  Daily OPD (9.00 am to 5.00pm)
  Obesity clinic-11-12 am
  Bariatric Diet Clinic
  Oncology diet clinic
  Antenatal diet clinic
  PHP-diet clinic
  Regular Diet Lectures and Camps in corporate, communities and school
 
Patient Education is an important part in diet therapy. Individualised diet planning and written diet plan is given to patients on discharge. Education material such as diet charts, brochures, presentation are used to educate patients and their families about their therapeutic needs.
 
Medical Education:
Continual education of profession is essential. We at Max Healthcare provide education and training activities like:
  Workshop for Dieticians in Bariatric Nutrition Care.
  Research in areas of Bariatric/cancer/PCOD/nephrology in association with Lady Irwin College(Delhi University).
  Internship programs for post graduate dietetics students.
  Registered Dietician- 6 month recognized training program by the Indian Dietetic Association for budding dieticians.
  Special workshops for dieticians to train them as specialised Dieticians.
