Obesity is a known cause of erectile dysfunction in men, apart from causing low testosterone levels and reduced sperm motility. In women, side effects include problems in conceiving, PCOD, and several others. Besides this, they also face problems like image issues, stigma and discrimination. Though everyone felt concerned about certain medical conditions but more than 40% people (between 20-30 age group) felt that sexual performance is the biggest motivator to act on obesity. Hence, there is a heavy dose of trouble if women who are obese do not undergo weight loss surgeries to shed those extra kilos. The surgery involves stapling a portion of the stomach to reduce the person's appetite.
