Dr Balbir Singh,  is Chairman & Head of Cardiology Pan Max and  heads the entire cardiology department and  is responsible for development , quality , clinical governance , physician hiring , credentialing , Research and training including DNB program in cardiology across all Max hospitals. 

He joined Max Healthcare in November 2019 after a long successful tenure as Chairman of Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology at Medanta Hospital. 

He has been awarded country's fourth highest civilian honour in the year 2007, Padma Shri. He has also won numerous other laurels including - Best Operator award at India Live, prestigious Golden Hand Award at AICT Singapore 2012, and Best Late-Breaking Trail at APHRS

Educational Qualifications – Dr Balbir Singh is a graduate and post graduate from Mulana Azad Medical College , N Delhi then went on to work in AIIMS , N Delhi on a faculty position in AIIMS . With his experience of research and training at AIIMS he also heads the DNB program in cardiology at Max Hospital , Saket.
