Clinical Directorate

Max Dehradun was going through their daily routine. It was the Head of Department and Consultant Pediatrics, Dr. Rohit Srivastava who told the team about a newborn baby who needed immediate attention.

When the team reached, they realised that the parents of a newborn baby girl, weighing only 800 grams, were reluctant to continue the treatment for a life threatening ailment. Not only that, but the parents were also refusing to accept her. Through a counselling session, Dr. Srivastava found out that the couple had financial difficulties. But he somehow managed to convince the couple to continue with the treatment.

Within minutes, the team then approached the Max India Foundation to seek financial help for the girl child and fortunately, they managed to secure the funding for the baby's treatment. The combined Sevabhav effort of the doctors, nurses and management saved the life of a little girl.

Together, Dr. Srivastava and team led no stone unturned in her treatment and kept a family from losing their precious little one. The happy parents couldn't thank the team enough and as the life of the baby was saved at Max Super Specialty Hospital, Dehradun, they named their baby 'Max'.
