SUFFERING FROM OESOPHAGAL CANCER

Home >> Sevabhav Details >> SUFFERING FROM OESOPHAGAL CANCER

Clinical Directorate

A patient was crying out in pain continuously and requesting for relief medicine. The patient's treatment was being funded through the Chief Minister's Cancer Fund. Unfortunately, the medicine that the Doctor had prescribed wasn't included in the Chief Minister's fund and even the patient's husband could not afford it.

Seeing her condition, Sukhdeep Kaur, the Nursing Superintendent on call immediately offered her help. Initially, the attendant refused to accept the money for the medicines she gave but Sukhdeep insisted and told him to buy it immediately. The patient was finally put at ease with her help.

The very next day, when the attendant came back to return the money, he couldn't thank her enough. And nor can we. Max salutes her act of Sevabhav.
