Mr Afroz Mehndi was preparing for his exams and was traumatised with unbearable pain in his head. On consulting general physician he was prescriben an MRI. The MRI showed a a big lesion in the brain. He was diagnosed Choriocarcinoma. Afroz’s paternal uncle took him to Max Institute of Cancer Care, Max Hospital, Shalimar Bagh where he met Dr Waseem Abbas. Dr Waseem treated this case very sensitively as Afroz was just 18 years old. His treatment plan involved chemotherapy and Surgery. Afroz is now continuing his education and back to his normal routine.
