It is 2.30 am and I was changing the nappy of my newborn boy. I stole a quick glance at his elder sister who was asleep calmly. I am donning the role of a newly became father, the boy throws his tiny legs at me and protesting to wear the nappy but I am not giving up on him, never gave up on these kids and the hope, though it sounds very impractical and insane.
We have had our S'" anniversary recently and it was a bit different than its prequels, my wife was pregnant with twins and we were desperately counting days for the time to come to fulfil our long awaited dream to become parents. We both were on the verge of entering our 40s and this made it more difficult as age was not on our side and we did not have any clue whether we will be able to become parents. There were repeated miscarriages and failures, numerous tests but no RESULT. All our hard-earned money was getting spent, it seemed like some physical and mental torture.
But miracles do happen and someone in the family introduced us to Dr Bhavna of Max, Saket. She is an IVF expert and explained to us about the whole procedure. She was quite clear in telling us that we had 37% chance to conceive. The procedure is expensive including so many rounds that we had to make to the hospital but it was all worth it. I still do not remember from where I was deriving strength about convincing my wife about the whole process. In Dec 2017, we became parents of twins. We are thankful to Dr. Bhavna Banga for the entire process and wish her success in future endeavours.
