After being diagnosed with a mass in the right kidney and a stone in the left kidney, Syed Eftekhar travelled to India from Bangladesh. On recommendation from Dr. Waheed Zaman, Director - Urology & Renal Transplantation, he underwent two surgeries which were done in the same day, first left percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCML) was done followed by partial nephrectomy, in which the mass was removed completely with a healthy kidney margin.
