5 years of marriage, 1 ectopic pregnancy, 1 failed IVF, I had lost all hope of becoming a mother. I happened to speak about my failed IVF treatment with my yoga instructor and she recommended me to visit Dr. Bhavna Banga. Having spent most of the amount for my first treatment, I had no interest in meeting some other doctor who would convince for another IVF. After few days, my yoga instructor called me to ask whether I visited Dr. Banga and assured me that all my fears and apprehensions would vanish.
Without any intentions of meeting and getting myself treated, I decided to meet Dr. Banga to keep my yoga instructor’s heart. I did my research, read reviews about her and took a quick look at her photo to know whom am I and my husband are meeting. I called her and took the appointment. Unlike her image, she turned out to be a charming person with bright smile. She welcomed us, introduced herself and took all the minute details about my ectopic pregnancy and failed IVF. She assured us of becoming parents and counselled us properly about the entire treatment plan. Dr. Banga also walked us through the cost of treatment, which I realized was not expensive as compared to our previous IVF treatment.
Our journey of treatment with Dr. Banga began. She is one of those doctors who are concerned more about the patients’ treatment rather than their pocket. Surprisingly, she is more of a tech savvy person who believes in communicating with her patients through what’s app rather than calling them for every consultation. After a few months gap as I was suffering from fibroids, we started our IVF journey. I was emotionally drained out as my previous IVF treatment was transactional and involved no human touch. But Dr. Bhavna is different from my general perception of doctors is. Our egg was collected and we were called for embryo transfer after 3 days. Post the transfer, she comforted us. Though my pregnancy test was to happen after 14 days, Dr. Bhavna asked me to check 2 days earlier. Her efforts helped me conceive and currently I am running in my 5th month. The only thing that bothered me was that after few days, I was referred to a general gynaecologist and had to leave Dr. Bhavna’s treatment.
I am short of words to pen down my feelings for Dr. Bhavna. She is an easy going person and makes the whole treatment very comfortable. I am glad that I was referred to such a responsible doctor. She has the ability to understand the pain of all her patients. Thank you, Dr Banga, for the unconditional support you have provided.
