Gyanchand Yadav, an asthmatic patient, was suffering from breathing problems requiring continuous oxygen support for the past one year. He was referred to Dr. Rahul Chandola (https://bit.ly/3rEn23K) who decided that he required an urgent double lung transplant. A pair of lungs were found in Ahmedabad, which was transported to Delhi in under 3 hours, covering 950 kms. Dr. Chandola and his team successfully conducted North India’s first double lung transplant extended ECMO support.
