Max Healthcare Institute Ltd. is recognized by National Board of Examinations to permit practical training for students undergoing courses of DNB super-specialities in India courses in 16 disciplines. This training for DNB specialities in Delhi/NCR is given to students under specialists and HOD with considerable experience in accordance with guidelines given by the National Board of Examination (NBE). The holders of Board's qualification awarded after DNB examination are eligible to be considered for specialist's post/faculty in any hospital including a training/teaching institution on a teaching post/as faculty member/teacher/assistant professor/lecturer. Guidelines regarding accreditation of the institute and in selection of the residents is purely done on rules and regulations issued by the NBE from time to time. Observership

Medical Observership programs are provided in various clinical departments wherein Head of Department shall review application from Indian and International students and accepts candidate based on departmental criteria. Observerships programs are customized training programs for professional development to develop skills and knowledge of medical graduates where the course student learns as an observer.

Description	The course aims to achieve excellence in the training of Electrophysiology Fellows in diagnosis and management of arrhythmic disorders and symptoms, including noninvasive and invasive diagnostic and therapeutic modalities, pacemaker implantation and follow-up, and ICD implantation and follow-up.
Program Objective	To fully learn the indications, contraindications, risks, limitations, sensitivity, specificity, predictive accuracy, and appropriate techniques for the evaluation of patients with a wide variety of rhythm disorders including: Sinus node dysfunctions AV and intra-ventricular block Supra-ventricular arrhythmias Ventricular arrhythmias Clinical conditions including unexplained syncope, aborted sudden death, palpitations, WPW syndrome, Long QT syndrome Conditions leading to non-pharmacologic modalities of arrhythmia therapy (e.g. ablation, ICD implantation, surgery

Fellowship in Onco-Surgical Anesthesia

Description	The program aims to provide a framework and skill set to anesthesiologist to safely and effectively manage the perioperative and postoperative period of an onco-surgical patient.
Program Objective	To develop teaching, sharing and ongoing quality improvement in the practice of anaesthesia for onco-surgical patients To promote the practices of Max Healthcare amongst the members of Anesthesiology fraternity Financial gain for Max Healthcare in terms of the fee earned To promote a teaching programme which can then be put up for accreditation by renowned centers of excellence in the field of Anaesthesia for cancer patients which will help make the course sought after and generate more revenue. However 30-40% of this revenue would have to be shared with the accrediting body!
Eligibility Criteria	MD (Anesthesia), DA (Anesthesia). The fellow will be appointed as a senior resident for a period of one year.
Duration	1 Year

George Washington University Masters in Emergency Medicine is a training program conducted by Max Institute of Medical Excellence in collaboration with The Ronald Reagan Institute of Emergency Medicine (USA) under The George Washington University Medical Center to enrich the residents of Max Healthcare in knowledge, skills & compassion needed for effective & efficient emergency medical care.

Objective
Max Institute of Medical Excellence (MIME) is a dedicated centre for medical education and training. MIME was established to meet Max Healthcare's vision for providing the highest quality of patient care, to establish a centre of excellence in training and education. The centre gives a cutting edge to the medical personnel at Max Healthcare and enables them to deliver the best in healthcare by consistently upgrading their skill set.

The focused approach and structured growth of MIME are a harbinger to the development of Max Nursing Academy (MNA) and ensuing Max Institute of Health Education and Research.

Goals
Delivery of healthcare is a dynamic process to meet evolving needs. MIME is a central education and training resource that will meet and enhance the training needs of all medical staff working in Max Healthcare, as well as of the external healthcare community. The goal is to build a unique institution where patient care is at the forefront driven by excellence in healthcare delivery a committed and highly skilled workforce is an imperative.
