- Allergy Shots: Also known as immunotherapy, allergy shots work by exposing your immune system to small amounts of the allergen over time. This helps your body build up a tolerance to the allergen; nowadays, biologics are also available as monthly injections that target the allergy cascade and help control different forms of allergy by blocking different allergy mediators in our bodies.
- Medication: We provide medication management for allergies, including antihistamines, decongestants, corticosteroids etc.
- Biologic Therapies: Biologic therapies have emerged as a promising treatment option for various allergic conditions. These therapies are designed to target specific components of the immune system involved in the allergic response, offering a more targeted and effective approach compared to traditional treatments such as antihistamines or corticosteroids.
- Asthma and Nasal Polyps Management: Asthma is often triggered by allergens, and we offer comprehensive asthma management for type 2 asthma, which is essentially allergic in nature. People with nasal polyposis also suffer from allergies, and we have various treatment options for them (even non-surgical).
- Chronic Urticaria or Skin Hives: Chronic urticaria that has been resistant to antihistamines and corticosteroids responds very well to biologics if such patients are started on timely and appropriate therapy.
- Allergy Education: We believe that education is key to managing your allergies, and we provide a range of resources to help you understand your condition. Our team will work with you to develop an individualised education plan, which includes information on triggers, symptom management, and treatment options.
- Anaphylaxis: It is a severe and life-threatening allergic reaction that may occur within minutes of exposure to an allergen. Symptoms may include difficulty breathing, swelling of the face and throat, and rapid heartbeat.
