Dexa Scan (Bone Densitometry)
The DXA scan machine is used to measure the Bone Mineral Density(BMD). Comprising of dual X-Ray beams, each beam is of different energy level aimed at the patient's bones. The BMD can be accurately measured based on the absorbtion of each beam by the bones.
