Shikha had high blood pressure during her pregnancy. Nonetheless, Mrs. Shikha had to be operated urgently to deliver the baby, and the delivery was pre-term. Post-delivery, the baby girl was evaluated by Dr. Astha Agrawal, Senior Consultant, Paed, Max Hospital, Dehradun, who shifted the baby to NC and kept her on close monitoring. With successful bouts of feeding, the baby’s health revived, and she was finally off antibiotics. Today, battling the odds, both the baby and the mother are living a healthy and functional life.
