Prabir was admitted to Max Hospital, Patparganj with the complaint of blood vomiting, stomach distension and black stool. After a detailed evaluation, he was diagnosed with Liver Cancer. Here, Dr. Manoj Tayal, Director, Radiation Oncology, initiated the treatment procedure first to extract fluid from the patient’s stomach and later he was taken up for radiotherapy sessions as the location of the tumour in the liver made surgery impossible. Nonetheless, post-radiotherapy, the patient is relieved of the symptoms and recovering steadily.
