Dr. Anant Kumar has joined Max Super Speciality Hospital Saket in 2013 and has developed one of the best departments of urology, uro-oncology, and kidney transplantation. He has already performed more than 1500 kidney transplantation, including many re-transplant, paediatric transplant, ABO-incompatible, and high-risk transplantation.

He has also developed a kidney transplant program in other Max group of hospitals and a urology program in Max Super Speciality Hospital, Vaishali. He introduced the latest robotic surgery in 2015, and since then, more than 1500 robotic surgeries have been performed by various departments, including over 100 robotic kidney transplants. He has a special interest in uro-oncology, laparoscopy, and laser surgery. He has published over 180 papers in renowned national and international medical journals. He is also a member of numerous global associations and medical organizations, such as the American Urological Association, British Association of Urological Surgeon, International Transplant Society, and many more.

Dr. Anant Kumar has completed his medical schooling at KGMC, Lucknow. He did his post-graduation in surgery and M. Ch. in Urology from PGIMER, Chandigarh. He did his DNB urology. He has won many prestigious fellowships and had further training in Monash Medical center, Melbourne, Cleveland clinic Ohio and John Hopkins, Baltimore, Newcastle upon Tyne, and Cambridge UK.
